Playful Pathways Developmental Consulting was created around a simple question: What does this child need in order to be successful here?
Children don’t experience development in isolated categories. Learning, language, executive functioning, regulation, motor development, sensory processing, relationships, independence, environment, and experience interact all day long.
Playful Pathways helps families and educators make sense of those interactions... turning observation, developmental science, educational research, and complex information into practical next steps.
My background spans child development, educational psychology, early childhood leadership, classroom support, educator coaching, family consultation, curriculum and resource development, and professional learning.
I’ve spent my career working alongside children, families, teachers, and school leaders, and trying to answer the same question:
What does this mean for this child, in this environment, right now?
And what do we do next?
Understanding before intervention
Observation before judgment
Behavior as communication
Skill-building over compliance
Development happens in context
Relationships matter
Practical support has to work in real life
